It’s August, and so it’s high summer where I live. The air is steamy and the sun relentless.
I decided it was time to make some updates to the website, which I’m so excited to share. Coming up with the new look and seeing it the ideas fleshed out has been really rewarding. My designed added a drop down menu for my writing, and what really has me jazzed is the new gallery feature for my artwork. The section will continue to grow as I add more of my work and new collections. Writing and art have always gone hand-in-hand for me, so it’s nice to have a place to showcase my work.
I’ve been hard at work on a new story. Haunted lakes. Wisconsin woods. Dysfunctional families. Ghosts. My agent loves the story, and so do I. Hopefully, I can share more about it soon.
I hope you can share more info soon! I still think about May Queen regularly – a fave from many years ago! So glad it was in my thoughts and I looked you up too see if you had any more books on the horizon – I cant wait!

I am always heartened to hear from readers who enjoyed it, truly. To be honest, sometimes publishers undergo big restructures and you become a casualty when your editor’s position is eliminated. Then life gets busy and pandemics happen, but I do have something I’m working on that I hope I can talk about soon!
