Scarlett Bromwood and Where Else to Find Me Online

Photograph of the woods and water behind my house on a very foggy morning. Perfect inspiration for Haunted Lake book.

Just putting up a quick list of where else to find me online. Some have noticed that I’ve added the pen name Scarlett Bromwood to my social media. Recently, I decided to revisit an older project that has a different tone from my Sarah Jude writing, and my agent and I felt it best to use a separate name. My Sarah Jude work leans more into the Gothic, darker, and atmospheric stories whereas Scarlett Bromwood is a little lighter, dark-humored–spooky and sweet, creepy and cute, if you will. Scarlett writes about demonic pies and clumsy witches, and I hope that in the future, I’ll be able to share a bit more of that side of my writing. In the meantime, I can see the finish line in my Haunted Lake book under my Sarah Jude name.

Now about where to find me online. Since there’s been some volatility in social media sites, it’s a good idea to not to limit social media to site. I’ll periodically update this list.

Instagram – lots of pictures of the woods and nature conservation area that’s literally behind my house with occasional snippets of what I’m working on, pictures of my dog, or what’s amused me lately. I update here pretty regularly!

Hive Social is an app-based social media site that’s newer and a great micro-blogging site that has a big following among readers and writers. I enjoy the atmosphere on Hive Social quite a bit. No desktop version quite yet, but I hear it’s coming. If you’re on Hive Social and want to connect, search for scarlettsarah and you should find me. When I have a link directly to my username or a desktop version of Hive, I will update.

I have a Facebook page that has been lying fairly quiet, though I will update when there is news.

Twitter is a site where I’ve maintained a presence for ten years, but as I like Hive’s atmosphere and Instagram’s visual platform more, I foresee my Twitter profile moving toward being used to keep up relationships with some friends who prefer that platform while maintaining it for updates.

I’m looking forward to see all my dark ones in the New Year!
