Hello Dark Ones,
It’s been some time, but I am extremely honored and happy to announce that I am speaking at the 2019 Annual Conference of the Missouri Library Association! On October 4th, I will be presenting at the YA Author Breakfast at 8 am. Details can be found here at the conference website.
On a personal note, it’s been a very busy and exciting time for me. I’ve taken a position that allows me to work in education, and I get to focus on art and special education, which are both near and dear to me. Also, after taking a lengthy hiatus to focus on several health situations in my family, I am so very close to completing a new manuscript. I love this story. I mean, I love all the stories I’ve worked on, but this one . . . well, really, it’s two girls and they recaptured my love of story-telling and the joy I find in creating lives and places to explore. I hope I get to tell you more about these girls some day.
Autumn is coming. The light begins to shift with the season of harvest. All the good things that have been sown in months prior yield their rewards of your effort, and the best rewards are the ones that move you deep in your heart.
Come up. Sit by the fire. There are stories to tell.
Soon,
S
